Sven Co-op
Have you heard of Sven-Coop? It's one of my favorite cooperative games out there!
The game is based on Half-Life 1 and lets players create their own content, including the Half-Life campaign (and it automatically adds Blue Shift and Opposing Force if you have them). You can also create servers to play with other people, and there are tons of maps to choose from, like puzzles, linear campaigns, survival, scary maps, and even PvP with objectives.
Even though it's been over 20 years since the original game came out, the Sven-Coop
community is still going strong. And honestly, it's not surprising, because this game is so worth playing. You can meet tons of new people and even make some friends while you're at it. I know I have! Sometimes I'll even reinstall the game just to play with random people and have a good time.
One of the cool things about Sven-Coop is that it has a contextual menu where you can customize your character model, crosshair, and camera settings depending on whether you want to play in first or third person.
If you've got a crew of friends, I highly recommend giving Sven-Coop a try and checking out all the different maps. I'm sure you'll find something you like and end up spending hours playing it. And even if you don't have anyone to play with, don't worry, because the MOD was made available for free on Steam a few years ago.
If you're interested in playing but don't have anyone to play with, hit me up on Discord (Yuri#8719) or Steam! I'm always down for a good game of Sven-Coop. And if you're into cooperative games in general, be sure to check out my other articles on the topic!
